Welcome to the Editor’s virtual tour

Editors working for English Trackers choose their jobs to suit their skill set and their schedule. An Editor’s personal login and password allows him to pick jobs and return work through his own Dedicated Editor Space. As soon as a new job goes up on the Job Board, the system automatically sends every registered Editor an email alert.

Editor’s dedicated space

This is your space – in it you will find jobs that are available as well as any jobs that you are currently working on

Everything you need to know about a job is clear :

  • Number of words
  • Speed of service (regular or economy)
  • Type of job (business, legal, etc)

Job space

Every job is viewed in a Job Space. You can take a look at a job before committing to it. Simply click on the attachment and the job will open.

Picking a job

  • When you pick a job the system automatically sends the client an email to confirm the delivery deadline.
  • All you have to do now is complete the job and return it within the deadline!

Junior editor

  • If you are a Junior Editor you’re not left on your own - we accompany you through your first 5 jobs.
  • You will be able to see the Auditor responsible for your job in the Job Space.
  • You can even communicate with the Auditor through the comment boxes in the job space. This exchange is not seen by the client.

Editor support

  • The Auditor guides you when you need help and ensures that the job is edited according to English Trackers standards.
  • The Auditor is ultimately responsible for the final version of the edited document.

Uploading a completed job

Returning your job is easy – just log back into your Editor Space and click on the job.

Uploading your document is a 2 step action

  • Upload document via File manager
  • Set progress bar to 50%

Quality control

  • Once the progress bar is set to 50%, responsibility for the job is no longer yours.
  • The other 50% of the work is carried out by us.
  • We give the job a final check before approving it for release to the Client.

Transparent system

You can track all your jobs in your Editor Space. At the end of the month we send you a monthly statement and payment is transferred to your bank account on the 15th of the following month.
